Nurse Practitioner with Autonomous Practice License

About the Position

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with an autonomous practice license who specializes in adult or family medicine to join our growing team at River City Performance Therapy in Richmond, VA. We are currently a physical therapy practice in the process of expanding into an integrated healthcare center designed to bridge the gap between traditional care and performance-based wellness. Our mission is to provide comprehensive care that supports patients across the continuum - from injury recovery to prevention, chronic condition management, strength, and performance.

This role is intended as a part-time position with the goal of transitioning to full-time as our patient base grows. We plan to operate on a Direct Primary Care, out-of-network model, allowing you the clinical autonomy to practice medicine the way it should be - focused on the patient, not the paperwork.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide evidence-based primary care with an emphasis on prevention, wellness, and health optimization

  • Deliver practical treatment for acute and chronic care needs across diverse patient populations

  • Prescribe and manage medications, order diagnostic testing, conduct physical exams, and administer vaccinations
